I've left the Creative Arts Agency, says Franky 5.
Franky 5, also known as Frank Owusu Kwabena, has announced that he is no longer employed by the Creative Arts Agency.
Up to his resignation, Franky 5 served as the organization's deputy executive secretary.
He confirmed the rumours to Kwame Dadzie of Showbiz A-Z and said he departed the location roughly two months ago.
I have resigned from the position, so you can't approach me as the Deputy Executive Director of the Creative Arts Agency, he stated.
When asked why he left, the presenter and artist management responded, "Personal reasons."
The job that Franky had, according to Kojo Preko Dankwa, convener of the Foundation of Concerned Creative Arts Professionals (FOCAP), was not listed in the organization's records.
The nomination of Gyankroma Akufo-Addo as the Executive Secretary of the Creative Arts Agency, according to Kojo, was likewise unlawful.
He pointed out that Gyankroma was working at the office secretly from the industry's key players. If she had been properly appointed, in his opinion, her appointment needed to be made public.
"We need to know if she has gotten her appointment letter. The President does not act secretly when choosing the Chief Executive Officer of the Volta River Authority. We're all aware. You must officially tell us. If she has received her letter of appointment, that indicates that the administration does not respect us, he continued.
The Creative Arts Agency is a group that offers an institutional framework for the growth and administration of the associated fields of the creative arts.
The President of the Republic of Ghana appoints the Executive Secretary of the Agency.
The establishment of a Board as the institution's governing body is additionally mandated under the Creative Industry Act (1048).
Stakeholders in the creative industry are currently waiting for the Legislative Instrument to the Act to be ratified in order to improve the functionality of the Agency's operations.
